In my experience, many people consider ecchi anime shows as an avenue to express the “male fantasy” associated with watching cute anime girls with exposed bodies. However, that is not entirely the case. Ecchi anime has long been a staple in the anime community, and I’m here to tell you why.
Before that, what exactly comes to mind when we hear the word “ecchi?” Ludicrous fan service, crazy clothing damage, and the main characters having the best luck in the world as they find themselves in erotic situations all the time. And there is a reason, apart from all the erotic hijinks, that the ecchi anime genre has become so popular, and one of the reasons I can think of is the fantastic art style, closely followed by an amazing plot; and, of course, there’s also the large number of anime fans wanting to see a little spice in their anime shows!
Though we can all agree that there’s a degree of attractiveness associated with watching bare-skinned girls and guys, that is not all ecchi anime have to offer. If that were the case, where do we draw the line between ecchi and more explicit media forms? Simple. We make that line with the plot presented. Ecchi is more than just busty girls with curvy bodies, and this list is here to prove that.
Best Ecchi Anime of 2023
40. Rosario to Vampire
No ecchi list can start without the acclaimed supernatural ecchi anime, Rosario to Vampire, and the series itself has a pretty simple premise.
The main character, Tsukune, mistakenly gets enrolled in and starts attending Yokai high school, a school intended for monsters. There, he meets Moka, a vampire girl who falls in love with him at first sight, and after tasting his blood, she quickly switches personalities, becoming very cold and violent. He will try his best to hide his identity as a human and survive the school and its many types of monsters.
The most iconic aspect of this series is the surreal amount of panty shots you’ll see, not only from Moka but from many other characters, including a succubus, a snowwoman, and a witch. It enters the category of harem, comedy, and romance, too.
39. Freezing
Freezing is another harem anime with a more “adult” kinda art drawn by its Korean author, famous for many other manga titles, heavily focusing on action and romance, besides ecchi and fanservice components. The title introduces a world where humanity is constantly struggling in a war against the Novas, aliens that are attempting to invade earth.
To deal with them, the project Pandora was created, where females are given a stigma to fight against Novas, and a limiter, males that are meant to work as their supports, aiding them in battle.
The series focuses on the relationship between Kazuya, who decides to become a Limiter due to her sister being a Pandora, and Satellizer, the untouchable queen, who seems to be afraid of men and is known for being a very competent fighter.
38. Haganai: I Don’t Have Many Friends
Also known as Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai, this series used to be very popular when it was serialized and even managed to have two seasons. The series’ charm is more linked to its fascinating characters and the way they interact with each other.
The premise is also relatively simple, too. First, we have Kodaka as the main character, who, due to his appearance, has always had a hard time making new friends since he has a rather ferocious gaze and blonde hair, which is linked to delinquents in Japan.
However, things change when he ends up meeting Yozora, a girl who’s often claimed to be beautiful and smart but very asocial, and she’s caught talking alone to her imaginary friend. Yozora decides to then create the Neighbor’s Club, a place where you’ll learn how to make friends, and Kodaka, of course, is made to join.
37. Keijo!!!!!!!!
Keijo is a very interesting piece of work, especially if you have no idea how crazy anime can be at times. This specific series is often considered a shonen title more than an ecchi title, but, considering its premise, it’s pretty easy to understand why it also falls under the ecchi anime category, along with the sports category.
This series introduces a world where a sport known as “Keijo” is fairly popular in Japan. Girls all over the country work hard to become athletes and earn big money as professional practitioners.
But the thing is Keijo is about girls in swimsuits standing on top of platforms floating in a pool, and they have to push their adversaries into the water… using their their breasts and butts. And Nozomi, the main character of the series, dreams of becoming a high-earning athlete and will meet many other athletes who she will consider comrades and rivals who share the same dream as her.
36. The Asterisk War
This particular series was acclaimed for its great animation back when it got an anime adaptation. Although this animation might have dropped in quality throughout the way, it is still a really cool series to watch, perfect for those that enjoy some harem, fantasy, and sci-fi.
The series involves a world in which asteroids destroyed several of the main cities of different countries. This event also caused humanity to evolve into a race called Genestella, who were capable of using Mana, a new form of an element that significantly advanced the world’s technology. In this world, various schools battle each other in tournaments and rank their students based on their strengths and unique superhuman abilities.
The main character, Ayato, decides to join the Asterisk school to search for his missing sister, who used to be the Rank 1 in the school. There, he has an incident linked to Julis, the Rank 5 of the school, and they have a duel where Julis is almost assassinated by someone but is protected by Ayato.
35. Food Wars – Shokugeki no Souma
A lot of people would think that, by reading Food Wars, you’ll expect a series that mainly focuses on food and cooking. Although this is true, Food Wars, or Shokugeki no Souma, features a lot of ecchi scenes in many episodes. So if you want a great deal of cooking, comedy, and ecchi, this ecchi anime series is highly recommended.
The series starts with Souma as he attempts to win a cooking match against his father. They both run a family diner, the Yukihira food court, until one day, his father decides to leave to cook for the best restaurants in the world. He challenges Souma to attend the Totsuki academy to improve his culinary skills and to graduate as the best student in the school.
Later on, as Souma accepts the challenge, he learns that only a small fraction of the students manage to get in, and even less, to graduate, and that the school is claimed to be the best and most prestigious culinary school in all Japan, which aims to create world-class chefs.
34. Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend
Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend is another series that became fairly popular during its serialization and even managed to achieve another season. And, just like you’ll see in many of the titles on this list, the charming point of this series is actually its characters more than its premise and story.
Tomoya is a proud otaku who works just to afford his lifestyle. One day, after meeting a mysterious beauty on a hill and having the scene engraved in his brain, he dreams of making a visual novel, and this dream becomes more palpable once he meets the beautiful girl in his school, and her name is Megumi.
The thing is, the girl is pretty emotionless, so not only will Tomoya need the help of Eriri, his childhood friend and an illustrator, and Utaha, his senior and famous writer, but he’ll also need to turn Megumi into a proper main character, to recreate the scene still lingering in his memory.
33. Strike The Blood
This one’s also pretty popular and has one particularity that attracts many fans – vampires. The main character of the story, Kojo Akatsuki, is believed to be the Fourth Progenitor, a type of vampire that holds a considerable amount of power and may shift the balance that was so difficult to attain by the other progenitors.
To avoid this, Yukina, a sword shaman, is sent to observe and protect him from any vampire attack. They eventually get involved in many chaotic situations linked to people wanting to test his real powers, which he avoids using as he can’t yet control them.
But, after meeting Yukina and many other characters, he’ll understand that his libido (this is an ecchi anime, after all) greatly influences his powers and thirst for blood, and he’ll get involved in many situations that will affect it.
32. So, I Can’t Play H?
So, I Can’t Play H? is a title that was made to be an ecchi series since most of its appeal is the excellent character designs and its cute girls, with the main character mostly being a bridge to enjoy them.
It all starts with Ryosuke, a perverted high school student, who meets Lisara on a rainy day, a grim reaper who claims that Ryosuke will die in three months. To avoid this fate and to help Lisara with her goals, they make a pact in which Ryosuke will share his vital energy with her so that she can remain in the world of the living and continue her search.
But this energy can only be brought forth by not-so-safe-for-work thoughts and fantasies, so you can imagine what you’ll see.
31. Trinity Seven
After surviving an incident involving magic, and losing his cousin, Hijiri, Arata decides to become a mage and attempt to save Hijiri from her fate. After entering the Royal Biblia School, the Royal Academy of Magic, Arata not only meets the Trinity Seven, a group of seven great female magicians, each a master of their field, but he also discovers that he’s a demon lord capable of copying and annulling most magic.
In terms of action, comedy, and ecchi, this series has become a solid staple, and I definitely recommend checking it out. It’s a harem series, too, so you can pretty much expect what you’ll see, but even then, I believe it’s worth your time because the main character of this title is actually a badass!
30. Ao-chan Can’t Study!
Ao Horie’s goal is to eventually be able to get into a really good university, get a great job, and get away from her father. The reason? Her father is an acclaimed erotic novelist, and due to his influence and meddling, she has lived through some pretty embarrassing situations.
Because of this, she dislikes boys and sexual-related stuff, but one day she becomes acquainted with Takumi, a popular classmate that has a crush on her and wants to become her friend. Due to her father’s meddling and out of luck, they get involved in embarrassing situations because of her own scandalous thoughts until she slowly starts developing feelings for Takumi.
29. Heaven’s Lost Property
Heaven’s Lost Property is a classic, in my opinion, and definitely one of the best ecchi anime titles you can watch. It’s also filled with some of the best character designs out there, and for the time, its animation was actually pretty good. Story-wise is not half-bad either, and it even has multiple seasons and a movie!
Tomoki is a perverted yet average high school student who wants to live a peaceful, quiet life, as its motto is exactly that. He constantly dreams of an angel, too. He has a hard time leading a happy life as his neighbor and childhood friend, Sugata, always hits him for being perverted.
One day, while observing something in the sky, something crashes near his house, and he decides to observe what happened, only to find an angel-like girl, Ikaros, in the location. Ikaros claims to now be Tomoki’s servant, and as the story progresses, more and more angels will come to retrieve Ikaros and end Tomoki’s life.
28. Is This a Zombie?
Mostly known by its Japanese title, Kore Wa Zombie Desu ka, this title is entirely comedy, with some pinches of ecchi and a little bit of plot. The premise is ridiculous, but the series is a favorite among many anime fans. It is up to you to decide whether to watch it or not.
After being assassinated, Ayumu, our main character, is turned into a zombie by a necromancer known as Eucliwood Hellscythe, who he decides to call him Yuu. She’s the main lead of the series, but many other female characters will be introduced.
Ayumu is also turned into a “Masou Shoujo,” a parody of the words “Mahou Shoujo” by another one named Haruna. The story only gets more complex and complicated as you go on, but something is pretty sure – it’ll get a laugh or two out of you.
27. Chivalry Of A Failed Knight
This series, although featuring some ecchi elements, is more than that. It not only comes with a great cast of characters and a fantastic main character, its premises, fights, and how it develops the rivalry and tension of some of these fights are pretty good. I’d recommend this one 100% if you want more than just pretty girls showing some skin!
The premise is pretty simple. This title introduces a world where people known as blazers can summon a device, and this device can pretty much decide their skills and powers, and their talents are decided by birth.
Ikki Kurogane is often considered the “worst one” since he is the worst student in a prestigious school but dreams of reaching the highest title to prove the world wrong. One day, he has a misfortune (or lucky) encounter with Stella, the main female lead of the series and the person he duels with after an embarrassing experience between them.
26. How Heavy Are The Dumbbells You Lift?
Probably one of the most memed titles on this list, How Heavy Are The Dumbbells You Lift, revolves around weightlifting and gyms. The premise is pretty straightforward. Hibiki wants to lose weight due to eating a lot and ends up visiting a gym. There, she meets one of her classmates, Akemy, who seems to be obsessed with muscles, and the trainer, Naruzo, whom Hibiki has a crush on.
One would think that that’s the end of it, but in reality, things are a lot more irrational and chaotic, as the series is mainly filled with comedy.
25. No Game No Life
No Game No Life is a top-rated series in the ecchi genre and probably the series with the most people waiting for a second season. It managed to get a movie, but this one was based on different characters and considered more of a prequel than anything else. If you jump into this series, you’ll surely enjoy it but will be left with the void of not knowing what happens next.
This title focuses on Sora and Shiro, a brother-sister duo known by their gaming username, “Blank.” They are summoned into another world as a possible solution to their boredom and the key for humankind to rise.
In this world known as Disboard, everything is decided by games, which means Sora and Shiro are in familiar territory. In an attempt to gain more information about this new world, the duo reaches Elkia, humanity’s last remaining kingdom, where they meet Stephanie Dola, who is attempting to gain her father’s throne. The duo decides to help her get humanity back on its feet by taking on all the other races and kingdoms, one game at a time.
24. Sankarea: Undying Love
Chihiro is obsessed with zombies, reaching the point of collecting zombie-related merchandise, such as movies, video games, manga, posters, and more, even having a firing desire to eventually kiss a zombie girl. This opportunity is finally granted due to a turmoil of events happening altogether. At first, his pet cat, Babu, dies, and he uses a “resurrection potion” recipe he finds by coincidence.
At the same time, Chihiro meets with Rea, who’s attempting to run away from home due to her father’s abuse. Rea tries to kill herself by drinking the potion Chihiro made, which was made from a poisonous flower, but it doesn’t work.
After another argument with her father, however, Rea has an incident and dies but is resurrected by the potion. Now a zombie girl, Chihiro attempts to keep her zombification a secret and will have to take care of her.
23. To LOVE-Ru
To LOVE-Ru is probably one of the classics on this list featuring the best ecchi anime titles and one of those series with an interesting plot most anime and manga enthusiasts have heard of or read. It’s also an excellent ecchi-harem title, so if you are looking for that, definitely give this one a go.
This series revolves around Rito Yuuki, who’s in love with his classmate, Haruna. One day, while Rito is taking a bath, Lala Stalin Deviluke, an alien and the crown princess of an alien empire, falls on top of him, completely naked.
She appears to have run from her home as her father was attempting to find her a fiance. The next day, Rito decides to confess his love to Haruna but mistakenly confesses to Lala instead. Surprisingly she accepts his proposal, becoming her fiance so that she can avoid an unwanted political marriage.
22. Date A Live
Date A Live is another popular title on this list, especially since it managed to get several adaptations, OVAs, and a movie. It’s a harem title since it has many gorgeous female characters aiming to gain the MC’s love.
The premise involves a spatial phenomenon that killed over 150,000,000 people and keeps happening, summoning beings known as “Spirits,” who are girls with incredible special abilities. The main character of the series, Shido, lives his life peacefully until the day he learns his sister is also a spirit, and he has the power to control a spirit’s power, which is by making them fall in love with him and kissing them.
21. Masou Gakuen HxH
Masou Gakuen HxH is a pretty good ecchi anime for all anime fans looking for something spicy. The series introduces a futuristic human world that is being invaded by beings of another reality. These beings use a combination of science and magic and are pretty much invulnerable to humanity’s standard weaponry.
Humankind is then made to escape, creating floating islands to protect themselves. An effective weapon against the invaders is eventually developed, and the MC of this series, although not as talented and powerful as many of its users, has a hidden ability. He can enhance the power of other girls by performing lewd acts with them!
20. Interspecies Reviewers
This one is, in my opinion, the spiciest title on this list, and if you know where to look, you might even find an uncensored version of it. Be aware, the censored version of Interspecies Reviewers can still be pretty ecchi, which feels like a compilation of special fanservice episodes, so you’ll still get some spiciness out of it.
The premise of this ecchi anime is pretty simple – a group of adventures who enjoy having intercourse take it upon themselves to experience as many sexual encounters with all sorts of girls.
The world of the title is filled with countless diverse races, and there are a variety of brothels to choose from for people who want to experience a night of passion with a persona of a different race. With so many options to choose from, it becomes hard at times. So, our main characters – a human, an elf, and an angel – try to experience as much of them as possible, reviewing their experiences and putting a lot of thought into them.
19. Maken-ki!
This title can be considerably spicy, considering that it was drawn by a man known for his other “lewd” titles. And so its ecchi scenes are of high quality, but it also has some level of action and comedy, too.
Maken-ki revolves around a mysterious power known as Maken, which is used to prove one’s worth. Takeru Ohyama is your everyday perverted young man who enrolls in a high school that has just turned co-ed, and this school is completely dedicated to developing its student’s skills.
There, he meets Haruko, his childhood friend; Inaho, who claims to be his fiance; and Kodama, who seems to hate him for some reason.
18. Cat Planet Cuties
Cat Planet Cuties, also known as Asobi Ni Iku Yo!, is one of the spiciest ecchi anime series on this list. The great appeal of this title is how cute the girls are and the romance between the series’ main characters.
The series revolves around a race of people known as “Catians,” who are cat-people with ears and tails. They have infiltrated society, and our main character, Kio, meets one known as Eris. While attempting to save her from crazy fanatics of Catians and a governmental organization that wants to capture aliens, Eris falls in love with Kio, and their story begins.
17. Kiss x Sis
This is probably the truest ecchi anime on this list, not because of the physical fanservice you can see, but because of the interactions between the main characters. That said, if you are against relationships between half-siblings, you might want to look the other way because Kiss x Sis is all about that!
Keita’s father remarried when he was pretty young, and he gained two new twin sisters in the process. These two girls, Ako and Riko, are madly in love with Keita, and this love persists throughout their growth until Keita becomes a high school student.
Keita is against it, but as Ako and Riko keep trying to get his affection, he starts to get used to it and becomes attracted to the situation.
16. Why the Hell are You Here, Teacher!?
A comedy, romance, and of course, ecchi series, this one is not only popular as an anime, but it’s also a popular ecchi manga as well, with its manga having a lot more content to consume than its anime adaptation.
Why the Hell are You Here, Teacher?, also known as Nande Koko ni Sensei ga!?, revolves around a comedic and romantic relationship being slowly (or quickly) developed between a group of students and their teachers, with the primary feature being the teachers getting themselves involved in lewd situations where their students see them, which is why the series has such a name.
The first pair is Ichiro, a high school student, and Kana, a teacher known for being ruthless. Ichiro is rather carefree, whereas Kana is intimidating and serious, but she ends up being timid around Ichiro, mainly due to the several embarrassing and highly seductive situations they find themselves in on multiple occasions.
15. Mayo Chiki!
Kinjiro Sakamichi has a difficult time interacting with the opposite sex because of the rough treatment he’s experienced from his mother and younger sister, who both happen to be big wrestling fans. And so, he has developed a strong physique that can take hard punches, but he has developed “gynophobia,” which is an abnormal fear of women.
At school, he eventually meets Konoe in the bathroom, who is the butler of the headmaster’s daughter, Kanade, but he learns that Konoe is not a man but a girl. This involves him in a very complicated situation where he’ll have to hide the secret from other students and teach Konoe how to act accordingly. In exchange for his silence, Kanade promises to help him cure his phobia of women.
14. Bakemonogatari
Also known as the Monogatari series, this series is well known for being a classic among anime fans; the series also is famous for its fantasy theme and for being extremely weird and non-conventional. In my opinion, it is a must-watch, but I can understand why many people wouldn’t think the same.
Story-wise, the story can be pretty confusing since it features several seasons, some covering the past, some covering the future, and others, the present.
It also has movies and OVAs as well, but the series itself introduces a world where paranormal occurrences happen from time to time. The main character, Koyomi Araragi, attempts to solve the problems some students deal with, including Hitagi’s situation, a girl who’s unnaturally weightless and eventually starts dating him after he saves her.
13. Kanokon: The Girl Who Cried Fox
This anime is another series that is an excellent choice for those looking for ecchi anime since it is the central trope it focuses around. It also has some level of romance and harem, but once you watch it, you’ll pretty much agree that ecchi is its main approach.
The premise focuses on Kota as he enters high school. He meets a beautiful girl named Chizuru, who asks him to meet her alone in a classroom. There, she confesses to him, revealing that she’s a 400 years old fox spirit, known as Kitsune in Japanese folklore. After that, his life becomes slightly more chaotic, with Chizuru clinging to him constantly and Nozomu, a sacred wolf deity, who’s also interested in Kota, also enrolling in the school.
12. Monster Musume: Everyday Life with Monster Girls
Although the level of ecchi in this particular series is notable, I believe it has much more to offer than just that. Its romance is pretty entertaining, its characters are charming, and the way it handles comedy and life-to-life scenarios involving monster girls is pretty good. This is a pretty solid ecchi anime recommendation, if I could say myself!
After the government of different countries reveals the existence of monsters to the world, the coexistence between these fantastic creatures and humankind starts.
The story revolves around a cultural exchange program that begins between the races, and our main character, Kimihito Kurusu, is unwillingly made part of this program and will have to host several monster girls at his house.
However, this is merely the beginning of a series of wacky interactions between races. With every passing day, Kimihito finds himself surrounded by more and more attractive, bodacious, and VERY lustful demi-human women who can’t help but want his affection.
11. Yosuga no Sora
I mentioned earlier that there’s more to ecchi anime than just naked girls and panty shots; this anime is proof of that. Siblings Haruka and Sora return to the countryside to live with their grandfather after their parents passed away in a car accident. They soon run into old friends and make new ones, and all is calm.
However, life for this brother and sister is about to change for good as they find themselves spiraling as suppressed emotions and memories begin haunting them. Yosuga no Sora is an anime that captures the depth of hidden memories and explores how morality is bent and broken.
10. Vermeil in Gold
This one is probably one of the most recent titles on this list. In a world where magicians rely on their contracted spirits to handle magic, Alto seems to not have the talent required to summon a single creature, so his dismissal from school is almost certain. That is, until one day, he finds a mysterious grimoire and summons a considerably powerful demon.
This demon thought she could easily overwhelm him in a contract, but Alto manages to properly form a contract with her. This demon’s name is Vermeil, and she is a beautiful older lady who had been sealed hundreds of years ago and wields considerable power enough to defeat the school’s top students easily.
As thanks for freeing her, Vermeil decides to become Alto’s familiar, and little by little, Alto will find out what he is capable of and also discover Vermeil’s past!
9. The Testament of Sister New Devil
Don’t you hate it when your dad brings back new step-sisters, and they turn out to be all-powerful demons? Basara Toujou, the main character of The Testament of Sister New Devil, can definitely agree with this statement.
After discovering his newly acquainted step-sisters are forces of evil, Basara is forced to reveal his lineage as a descendant of a long line of heroes.
Unfortunately, Basara soon becomes attached to his new siblings, Mio and Maria, and finds himself going as far as making a master-servant contract to protect them from any forces that threaten to wreck this perverted family.
8. Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation is often referred to as the best isekai title, and although it has some level of ecchi to it, its story, characters, and world-building easily overwhelm this factor. Without a doubt, one of the most recommendable series on this list.
After being kicked out of his house and wandering the streets of Tokyo as a neet, our main protagonist dies attempting to save a group of high school students who were going to be hit by a drunk driver.
He ends up being reincarnated as a child into a new world with memories of his past life intact. This time, in a world of fantasy, swords, and magic, he decides to try his best to avoid his past mistakes and live his life to the fullest.
7. Highschool of the Dead
Highschool of the Dead is probably one of those anime titles that has become a staple for anyone looking for the best ecchi anime. Unfortunately, the series was never continued, as its author sadly died before they could finish the story. Even then, it is one of those series that are worth watching because of how fun they are, and if you like your anime to be pervy, you have to give it a try.
Late author Daisuke Sato’s famous work, Highschool of The Dead, is an anime that doesn’t mince words about its premise; zombies & hot girls killing them. MC Takashi is plagued by grief when he has to kill his best friend after being caught and transformed into a zombie. Takashi vows to protect his dead friend’s lover, Rei, from the fiends of the afterlife.
Joining him is a calm kendo beauty, a beautiful nurse, a politician’s daughter, and a trigger-happy otaku. Intense action of the bloody and sensual kind awaits any who wishes to watch this retelling of the zombie apocalypse.
6. Sekirei
Another classic title in the ecchi genre, Sekirei, has multiple seasons and OVAs. This one was serialized from 2008 to 2010, and now is one of those cult series for those looking for not only some action sequences but also harem and ecchi elements.
The story starts by introducing Minato, a brilliant 19-year-old who, due to his lack of confidence, failed his college entrance exams. The same day it happens, a girl falls from the sky and lands on top of him. Musubi is her name, and she claims to be a “Sekirei” and has chosen Minato to be his “Ashikabi,” a person who can form a contract with a Sekirei and enhance their powers.
She does this to fight other Sekireis, and Minato’s life only becomes more complex as he forms more contracts with other Sekireis he meets along the way.
5. SHIMONETA: A Boring World Where the Concept of Dirty Jokes Doesn’t Exist
With Shimoneta meaning “Dirty Joke,” this title’s premise centers around a dystopian world where immoral activities are illegal, including suggestive language and dirty jokes.
Tanukichi is the son of a perverted terrorist who spreads condoms as a way of fighting the authorities. Now, he is trying to remain distant from the world his father showed him before he was arrested, and he attempts to lead a peaceful life by being a normal high school student.
He then meets with Anna, who used to be his childhood crush and is also the student council president, and Ayame, who is, in reality, a sexual terrorist who wants to spread pornographic content around the city and manages to make Takunichi join her terrorist organization, SOX, by kidnapping him.
4. Prison School
One of those series in the ecchi genre I would refer to as a comedic masterpiece, Prison School is not only one of the greatest comedy titles you can find in the whole industry, but it’s also an incredibly spicy anime series.
Prison School anime starts with a group of friends consisting of Kyoshi, Takehito “Gakuto,” Shingo, Joji “Joe,” and Reiji “Andre,” who enter a high school unlike any other, Hachimitsu Private Academy, a school that has only started to accept male students and is mainly composed of girls. The five are quickly thrown to the deep end, as the girls all brand them as lesser without even having the chance to make an impression.
In the act of defiance, the lads try and spy on the ladies’ bath, with disastrous consequences. Now the quintet group is forced into the school’s prison to reflect fully on their perverted schemes… or make new ones?
3. Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs
Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs features the main character, Kogarashi, who is not only financially handicapped but also a mystical “expert.” He finds himself at Yuragi-sou, a cheap boarding house that has not attracted new customers in years due to rumors of it being haunted by a malicious evil spirit.
As a psychic, Kogarashi wishes to unravel the mystery behind this phenomenon. But it turns out that the evil spirit, Yuuna, is not only friendly but extremely attractive too.
Kogarashi and the supernaturally and curvaceously endowed female characters of Yuragi-sou work together to unravel Yuuna’s past and free her from her mortal ties to prevent this sweet girl from being sent to a nasty place in the afterlife.
2. How NOT To Summon The Demon Lord
How NOT To Summon The Demon Lord has become a classic in the isekai category, and of course, it also features several high-quality ecchi scenes involving a cute cat girl and a cute elf girl. The story starts in the MMORPG world of Cross Reverie. Takuma Sakamoto is the protagonist of this story and the most renowned player in Cross Reverie, Diablo.
One day, Takuma is forcefully summoned to another world by the demi-human Rem and bodacious Elf Shera. But he realizes he is in the body of his gaming avatar Diablo! Not knowing what to do, and the fact that he is simply a shut-in gaming addict with no social skills in real life, he decides to roleplay as his overpowered character, the Demon Lord Diablo, and attempt to solve his own problems and the problems of the two beauties who summoned him!
This unlikely couple of ecchi and isekai genre manages to squeeze in those oh-so-sweet lewd moments amid high-octane action with this unlikely trio, giving viewers the best of both worlds and becoming worthy of being one of the best ecchi anime titles of the year!
1. Highschool DxD
The last entry on this list, and certainly the best, is the Highschool DxD, the iconic and ecchiest anime of all time that arguably set the groundwork for modern ecchi titles to follow in its steps.
Issei Hyoudo is as lustful as they come, being one of the most perverted anime characters of all time. He dreams of owning a harem and doing many “questionable” things with the ladies in his harem. He believes his prayers have been answered one day when a hot girl asks him out on a date, but she turns out to be a fallen angel who ends up killing him!
But all’s not over for our perv as Rias Gremory, a high-class devil, reincarnates him as her underling. Now, Issie must join his school’s Occult Research Club and fight angels and demons to survive in his new role.
Highschool DxD perfectly captures the desires of one person whose destiny has been tangled in a web of risqué, magical, and near-omnipotent women. Being one of the ecchiest anime titles, the series isn’t afraid of showing nudity at times, but it also has some level of action, harem, and shonen-like tropes and is a must-watch for everyone who calls themselves an otaku!
