OPPO last updated its Find Series about four years ago with the release of Find 7. From that time till date we have been listening about the launch of the next generation series, OPPO Find 9, but still, the Chinese manufacturers have not launched a flagship smartphone. It seemed like OPPO had placed Find series to rest due to the success of its R-Series. But now OPPO Find Series is back in the picture, and it has been speculated that OPPO is all set to launch Find 9 very soon which is yet to go official.
Lately, some new contributions of OPPO Find 9 have been trending on the internet which unveiled the design of the device. The images were leaked on the Chinese microblogging website, Weibo which shows a full-screen display accompanied by narrow bezels on all four sides of the phone. The screen of the device is displayed to a large extent with almost a non-appearance of the top bezel.
The front of the device has been portrayed via sketches which disclose the absence of physical buttons. Thus, it seems like OPPO Find 9 will embrace on-screen navigational buttons. With the help of such revelations, it is quite obvious to conclude that the device will feature fingerprint scanner at the back or it may get embedded underneath the display. However, the possibility of having a fingerprint scanner at the rear is more evident.
Observing closely, the device demonstrates a metallic body which displays a design consistency with the previous Find Series handsets. The device appears to have slightly curved edges. If what is shown in the picture is what we are going to get then the design is absolutely stunning and holds its own class.
OPPO Find 9 is expected to come in two variants. One will be powered by Snapdragon 835 processor; 6GB of RAM and 128GB built-in storage capacity while the other with the Snapdragon 653 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage ability. As far as the software of the device is concerned, it is supposed to run Android 7.0 Nougat.
OPPO Find 9 might come with 5.5 inches screen backed with a battery of 4100 mAh and Super VOOC fast charging. On its rear panel, OPPO Find 9 is expected to have 21-megapixel autofocus camera and a LED flash whereas a 16-megapixel camera at its front.
Oppo Find 9 is anticipated to be launched this year as a successor of Find 7. However, it is still not confirmed whether the company is working on this project or they have discontinued it, as no official announcement or the statement has been given on behalf of the company. Talking about the sketches, we are unsure about the authenticity of these as they might have been fan generated.
