The Android smartphone from Nokia, the Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3, are finally about to launch and the company, HMD Global, has confirmed it. Earlier this month, we shared the press invites the company sent out for an event and now the company has confirmed that the smartphones are indeed launching on June 13.
The latest invite doesn’t mention much regarding the smartphones and only says “Let’s join hands and welcome a new era of Nokia smartphones”. Following the launch of Nokia 3310 in May, and amidst all the rumors surrounding the Nokia 9 smartphone, the Android series of the company is finally launching in the country. You should be more excited for the launch, because a few days ago, the company even confirmed that the smartphones will get Android O update when it’s available.
The Nokia 6 will sport a 5.5-inch full HD display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 16-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front camera. The smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 430 processor with 3GB of RAM and will come with 32GB internal storage which will be expandable up to 128GB and will run on a 3000mAh battery.
The Nokia 5, featuring a 5.2-inch HD display (720×1280 pixels) with Gorilla Glass protection and 16GB internal storage (expandable up to 128GB), will be powered by Snapdragon 430 processor coupled with 2GB RAM and will run on 3000mAh battery. The smartphone will sport 13-megapixel primary camera with 8-megapixel front camera.
The Nokia 3, with most of the specs similar to Nokia 5, will sport a 5-inch HD IPS LCD display (720×1080 pixels), will be powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor, run on 2630mAh battery and will feature 8-megapixel rear camera as well as 8-megapixel front camera.
Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 Price
Currently there is no official confirmation regarding the price of each of the smartphone; but according to Nokia Power User, the Nokia 6 will be priced around Rs. 15,000 or Rs. 16,000, the Nokia 5 will be priced around Rs. 12,000 while the Nokia 3 will be priced around Rs. 9,000.
