Motorola is launching smartphones that caters to all the buyer segments this year – from Moto Z2 Play to Moto C – and there are still a few devices that are yet to be launched. Earlier this month, the company launched Moto C in India for Rs. 5,999 and it seems that they are gearing up to launch the Moto C Plus as well in the Indian market pretty soon.
The budget smartphone was unveiled back in May and considering that it’s variant has already been available, it was time to make it’s debut as well. Moto India shared a video on its Twitter page announcing the arrival of the smartphone.

In terms of the design, the smartphone is very similar to Moto C as it features the volume rocker and power button on the right-hand edge of the device with 3.5mm audio jack and microUSB charging port on the top and speaker grille on the back side. There are capacitive navigation buttons just below the display panel with earpiece and front camera at the top.
Coming to the specs of the Moto C Plus smartphone, it sports a 5-inch HD display (720×1280 pixels), runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and comes with 8 MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash and a 2 MP front camera, also with LED flash. The device runs on 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6737 quad-core Cortex-A53 SoC coupled with 1GB or 2GB of RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage, which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot. The smartphone comes with a powerful 4,000mAh battery that is capable of delivering up to 30 hours of battery backup.
Currently, there is no set release date when the smartphone will be launched, but it shouldn’t be too far off now. So, let us know what you think about the latest news about the Moto C Plus smartphone in the comments below!
