Mythical Pokémon are some of the rarest Pokémon in the entire Pokémon universe. They are so rare that people question their very existence since not many people have seen them with their own eyes.
Most of these Pokémon are unable to breed, with a couple of exceptions, and they don’t even evolve with the exception of Melmetal, but a few of them do have different forms that they activate depending on the situation they are in. Even the gender of these Pokémon is unknown!
In the core series games, these mythical Pokémon were obtained only by mystery gifts that players receive on special occasions and not through normal gameplay. Also, most of these Pokémon were event-exclusive Pokémon and players couldn’t catch them like they would catch any other Pokémon.
In this article, we are going to have a look at some of the most popular mythical beasts of all time. But please note that this article does not contain legendary Pokémon because that’s a separate category of Pokémon!
