The second season of I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince, So I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability anime has officially been greenlit, and it is scheduled to premiere in July 2025.
The success of the first season came as quite a surprise for otaku fans worldwide, but due to the recent surge in the popularity of the isekai genre, the anime adaptation was a critical hit among fans. With their support, a second season was announced as soon as the first concluded.
A couple of months back, it was already revealed that the I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince Season 2 would be released in July 2025, but now we have our first look at the upcoming sequel!

A new key visual was already revealed for the second season, and it features two new characters, who will be introduced in the second season, along with the main character!

What is I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince About?
This particular anime is no different from other power-fantasy isekai anime, as it follows a nongeneric storyline in a fantasy world where magic means everything. If someone wants to learn about magic, their bloodline, aptitude, and effort play a significant role.
However, our protagonist was a nobody with no noble blood, so he didn’t have as much magic power as the nobles. And so, he dies a death nobody deserves.
However, the protagonist loved everything about magic and even as his life was being ended by magic, he wanted to learn more about it. During his final moments, instead of feeling fear and torment, he only wished he had learned more about magic.
And so he finds himself reincarnated, but this time, he’s born as the 7th prince of the Kingdom of Saloum, and he’s been blessed with insane magic potential!
The protagonist, now Lloyd, later discovers that his power and exceptional magical aptitude are unrivaled. With his past life’s memories intact, the will to learn magic more than ever, and a ton of magic power at his disposal that he can use to experiment and try out as many spells as he wants, he decides to continue this life doing what he loves the most—which is learning about all kinds of magic in the world!
