What is Grand Blue Anime About?
Grand Blue is a simple yet diabolical comedy series about a fresher Iori Kitahara, who decides to continue his college in a seaside town called Izu City where he will live at his uncle’s dive shop, expecting his college life to be full of girls and drama.
Upon arriving in Izu City, he finds beautiful women and crazy divers who love alcohol and will flash the poor boy whenever they get the chance. To make things even crazier, Iori ends up being a part of this crazy diving club, where he’ll meet his cousin Chisa Kotegawa, who is attending the same university as him.
Along with his first-year friends and cousins, Iori finds himself in a pickle. His college life is way too far from his expectations, but little does he know what’s in it for him.
A beautiful romance sub-plot and pure slapstick comedy with the boys are the foundation of Grand Blue, making it one of the most exciting and intriguing series.
