Need for Speed is one of the most popular gaming franchise and arguably the best racing games that everyone loves to play. So, when the news came that the game is coming back, we were extremely happy. EA and Ghost Games have finally unveiled the all-new Need for Speed game, titled Need for Speed Payback.
The game is all set to release on November 10th; but those subscribed to EA Access as well as the Origins Access players will be able to play the game from November 2. If you purchase the Need for Speed Payback Deluxe Edition, then you will get a three-day early access to the game. Currently, it has been announced that it will be available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
Need for Speed Payback Game Details
The 2017 version of the game seems to be doing something different as it’s no longer just about driving supercars and winning the races but there’s a completely unique storyline to play.
The game is set in Fortune Valley, a location created by the game’s developers, and will have three different playable characters – Tyler, the Racer; Mac, the Showman; and Jess, the Wheelman – all specializing in various fields, as is clear by their names. These three characters will unite against the House, which is described as “a nefarious cartel that rules the city’s casinos, criminals and cops.”
As far as the gameplay goes, it seems that it borrows elements from its predecessors like Need for Speed Most Wanted, The Run and Undercover as there are insane heist missions, devastating car battles and set piece moments to deliver an edge-of-your-seat, action driving fantasy.
