Dandadan Season 2 was announced soon after the first season concluded, and the first look of the sequel was revealed at the Jump Festa 2025 event!
The sequel to this supernatural/sci-fi anime was announced in the presence of the main cast. It has been recently revealed that the second season of the Dandadan anime will premiere on July 3, 2025, and Netflix will stream it worldwide!
Science Saru will once again handle the animation for the sequel, which means we’ll get to see the same epic quality from the anime as we saw in the first season.
It’s also been revealed that the second season’s first three episodes will be released theatrically. They will be released on May 30 in Asia, June 6 in North America, and June 7 in Europe!
Dandadan Season 2 First Look:
Based on the teaser trailer, it’s certain that the anime’s sequel will cover the “Cursed House Arc” and the “Evil Eye Arc.”
However, as there’s not much info considering how many episodes the second season will have, we can’t say for sure if the anime will adapt the following arcs or not. The upcoming episodes will focus on Jiji, Momo’s childhood friend and her first crush!

About Dandadan:
“Dandadan” is a manga that mixes paranormal and science fiction themes. Yukinobu Tatsu created the series, which is serialized in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+.
The anime mainly focuses on Momo Ayase and Ken Takakura, aka Okarun, as they both find themselves in the world of the occult and supernatural!
Okarun is an occult geek who believes in the existence of aliens but doesn’t believe in ghosts. Momo Ayase comes from a family of spirit mediums, so she believes in ghosts and supernatural elements but denies the existence of aliens.
When these two meet, their beliefs clash, and to prove themselves right and the other wrong, they both challenge each other.
But when the existence of ghosts and aliens comes to the fore, the two have to acknowledge each other’s beliefs because they now find themselves in the midst of supernatural and occult elements.
