After a brief one-week hiatus, Tatsuki Fujimoto has released yet another chapter of Chainsaw Man manga, filled with dramatic sequences. Following the attempted act of terrorism by Miri and his associates, public safety and the police have maintained surveillance on the Chainsaw Man Church.
The release date for the Chainsaw Man Chapter 146 has been announced, and the Chainsaw Man manga will not be taking a break next week, continuing with its weekly release schedule.
Facing pressure from the police and public safety, the Chainsaw Man Church took matters into its own hands to repel them. However, their efforts proved futile against Agent 7 of public safety and the Katana Devil.
Following this event, all the facilities owned by the Chainsaw Man Church were seized by the police, along with their weapons and control over minors with illegal contracts. The next chapter will likely focus on the aftermath of the attempted terrorist attack.

Chainsaw Man Chapter 146 Expectations:
In the aftermath of the attempted terrorist attack, an order was issued by public safety to capture the War Devil, known as “Asa Mitaka.” Alongside this, Barem, the second-in-command at the Chainsaw Man Church, was arrested, having been found guilty of weapon trafficking and selling devil contracts to minors.
The chapter then shifts back to the higher-up of public safety conversing with the name consultant. The consultant reveals that the client of the identified Falling Devil is, in fact, the real Justice Devil.
The consultant inquiries about the cultists and whether they still believe their contracts with the devil hold, even after the devil’s demise. Senior officials confirmed that the preacher assumed the role of the Justice Devil following the church attack. The consultant explains that this implies a distinction between the claimed Justice Devil and the genuine Justice Devil.
Asa and Yoru were watching a broadcast about the police and public safety raiding the Chainsaw Man Church’s facility in Okinawa. Just as they were absorbed in the news, the bell of their apartment rang, and to their surprise, public safety was there to arrest the War Devil. Asa had a plan in mind for situations like this.
In the apartment that belonged to Asa, she had the ability to transform the entire room into a weapon for dealing with their enemies. Yoru, taken aback by this transformation in Asa since their first meeting, commented on her newfound wilderness.
As Asa prepared to turn her room into a weapon, the main door of her apartment suddenly shattered, and a public safety agent, Yoshida, rushed in. Yoshida severed Asa’s arm, preventing her from executing her plan.
The chapter concludes with public safety officers raiding Asa’s apartment. Meanwhile, Barem is shown singing “Kumbaya” and praying to God as the police arrest him.
Conclusion
The public safety and police have started to take the actions of Chainsaw Man Church seriously. From seizing all the facilities of The Chainsaw Man Church, arresting Barem, and raiding Asa’s apartment, they are not leaving anything behind.
With one of her arms severed, Asa is up against Yoshida from public safety. The next chapter will focus on what plans or actions Asa might adopt in order to escape this sticky situation.
