Spy x Family season 3 has a release date; it will officially be released in October 2025. The third season of the Spy x Family anime adaptation was announced last year, and it will continue the story from where the second season ended!
Originally a manga series by Tatsuya Endo that became a big hit among fans and critics alike, it has been serialized in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump Plus platform since 2019. With a huge fan following and impressive sales, two giant studios, CloverWorks and WIT, announced the anime adaptation in 2022.
With many accolades under its belt, the production cast ideally consists of one of the most respected individuals from the anime industry.
Three years after the first season and two years after the second, the anime is now receiving the much-anticipated third season, scheduled for later this year.

What Spy x Family Anime is About?
Spy x Family features a unique story of a family where every member of the family has their fair share of secrets.
The anime follows Loid Forger, or Agent Twilight, a world-class spy on a mission to reclaim world peace after a devastating war. To do so, he has to gather as much information as he can on one of the country’s leading politicians, Donovan Desmond, a task that’s not easy as he rarely makes any public appearance.
Loid’s main motive is to hide his real identity no matter the cost, but this mission requires him to start a quiet family life as he needs to complete it without causing any alerts.
So, he decides to adopt a young girl named Anya, enroll her in the same school as Donovan’s son, and try to get close to him through this method.
However, Loid doesn’t know that Anya has a secret of her own. She’s a telepath and can read minds, so she knows who Loid really is.
To make his family more believable, Loid meets a woman named Yor and asks her to be his wife. Yor agrees to this charade because she, too, has secrets of her own and would like to keep those secrets hidden. Yor is a dangerous assassin known as the Thorn Princess!
Loid and Yor don’t know each other’s real identities, but Anya does, and she thinks it’s the coolest thing ever!
Not enough information regarding the third season has been announced for now, but expect some good news soon. It’s already been revealed that Spy x Family season 3 is scheduled to premiere in October 2025, so it’s only a matter of time before we get the first look at the upcoming season!
