What to Expect from Haikyuu Movie 2?
The upcoming movie will feature the much-anticipated battle between the two “Little Giants” – Shoyo Hinata and Korai Hoshiumi, as their teams – Karasuno and Kamomedai – clash in the Spring High quarter-finals volleyball match.
Hinata has always admired the Little Giant who used to play in Karasuno’s volleyball team. Despite his short stature, he was one of the best players.
While Hinata wants to take his place in the world of volleyball, Korai Hoshiumi is considered the current “Little Giant” because he’s also similar to Hinata in height but way superior in volleyball skills.
This was a fated battle between Hinata and Hoshiumi, one that fans have been eager to see since the characters were introduced.
So, the upcoming movie featuring Karasuno vs. Kamomedai will be a total spectacle as fans around the world tune in to witness the battle of the Little Giants!

Haikyuu!! Movie: VS. The Little Giant isn’t the only adaptation we are getting from the franchise because Haikyuu: Where Monsters Go was also announced, which will feature the Fukurodani Academy vs. Mujinazaka High volleyball match!
There is currently no information on how long this special anime will be. It was a very short match in the manga, so we should expect it to be a short episode rather than an entire movie.

Special Update:
There’s also one little thing that you need to know. Originally, the Haikyuu Movies were announced as a two-part final project titled “Haikyuu FINAL,” but the makers have removed the “FINAL” term from the branding.
This is a subtle but significant change that could mean we aren’t done with the Haikyuu franchise and more projects might be in the pipeline!
It’s excellent news because fans are curious about how the second movie will adapt the entirety of the manga because there’s still a lot of content left.
But this is just speculation at the moment, as we’ll have to wait a bit for an official confirmation on whether we’ll get more movies in the future!
