The delinquent manga Wind Breaker anime adaptation is receiving a second season, scheduled to air on April 3, 2025. The announcement came with a brand-new trailer and a new key visual.
With the trailer, the original voice cast and production committee have announced their return to keep the upcoming KEEL arc as dramatic as ever.
Originally announced in 2023, Wind Breaker anime adaptation is handled by Studio Cloverworks, a prestigious studio behind blockbuster anime like The Promised Neverland and My Dress-up Darling.
Since the manga was barely making past borderline axe-able sales, the anime adaptation was not planned to be a major hit. However, thanks to Tokyo Revengers giving a boost to the “delinquent” anime fan base, Wind Breaker was positively received by fans and critics alike.
The second season was announced with the first season’s conclusion on June 28, 2024. With much anticipation unfolding, the sequel is just around the corner.

What is Wind Breaker About?
Wind Breaker is a delinquent action series about Haruka Sakura, a delinquent who arrives from outside the city and wants to climb to the top as he fights his way through 3the school of Furin High.
However, things are quite different from what he perceived: Furin High School is a delinquent household that serves to protect their town called Bofurin.
With this revelation, Haruka learns that instead of fighting each other in school, the group combines its power to protect the community around it. He decides to join their force to protect the people who can’t protect themselves from the rival delinquent gangs.
The story is more concerned about people around Haruka and his relationship with them. However, it follows his growth as a character who never thinks about getting stronger for his own purposes.
It is a polar opposite of Tokyo Revengers, but it executes everything perfectly, leaving no loose ends.
