After leaving the fans on a significant cliffhanger, My Hero Academia has returned after two weeks. With the fight between Kuneida against Hagakure and Aoyama bringing us to a conclusion, the series’ focus has shifted towards All Might and All For One.
Fortunately, the recent chapter of the manga series has come with an announcement that the upcoming chapter will not be delayed! My Hero Academia chapter 401 is set to be released according to the slated schedule and will continue the current events of the final war arc.
The latest chapter of the series, i.e., chapter 400, begins with Hagakure and Aoyama beating Kuneida, and a weird-steamy moment takes place between these two. In short, Hagakure’s quirk glitches, and she becomes visible, naked.
The chapter then shifts the focus to the fight of All Might against AFO, and it is a miracle that All Might is still alive but critically injured. A rollercoaster of emotions, the chapter ended with marking the return of the fan-favorite character of the series.

The chapter will be officially available to read on Viz Media’s website and Manga Plus app.
My Hero Academia Chapter 401 Expectations:
Although the fight has taken enough turns, Horikoshi-sensei is passing his limits with each chapter, and the manga series is bound to get more exciting and intense. After the situation between Hagakure and Aoyama, the chapter shifts its focus towards All Might and AFO.
Continuing from the climax of the previous chapter, the prototype of Aoyama’s laser is overheated and cannot shoot the laser anymore. All Might orders the prototype to stop and keep attacking; meanwhile, AFO attempts to escape from the laser. All Might uses Ear Jack’s Sound Wave Vibration to prevent AFO from moving.
However, suddenly, AFO launches an attack, and it manages to scratch half of All Might’s face severely. And for now, this is the hardest that AFO can attack. All Might is trying his utmost to end the fight as fast as possible, as now the joy he was receiving from the battle to numb the pain is losing consistency.
The cameras are streaming the fight between those two all over the world, and Aoyama’s laser prototype breaks, and AFO looks like a child now, considering the damage he took.
All Might call him a rugrat, and AFO is now proceeding to end All Might’s life once and for all. Suddenly, AFO is paralyzed, and here comes Hero Killer ‘Stain!’
The chapter ends with Stain paralyzing AFO and telling All Might to take him down for good. Stain has arrived out of nowhere and is helping All Might to put an end to AFO’s madness. Horikoshi-sensei is dragging the fight enough to make it not feel rushed, and this is a good thing!
Conclusion
With the return of Hero Killer Stain, things are looking much brighter for All Might, as he has someone backing him up now.
My Hero Academia chapter 401 is set to be released on September 25, 2023.
