After a long slumber of three months, Boruto manga has finally returned from the extensive hiatus. The manga has returned better than ever with the series’ long-awaited and anticipated time skip.
Boruto chapter 81, i.e., Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 1, was critically acclaimed by the fans that read the manga, and it even led to a crash of the Mangaplus app due to an overload of readers. Now that the manga has brought us the awaited time skip, it was refreshing to see the new and upgraded designs, now backed by Masashi Kishimoto himself.
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 2 has been announced, and it is just a month away, meaning we won’t see an extensive break again! Things changed after the end of Boruto chapter 80 and left us on a major cliffhanger.
After the fates of Kawaki and Boruto were exchanged because of Eida, everything and everyone that Boruto knew went to hell. The only ones to remember the real identity of Boruto were Sarada and Sumire. Everyone, except these two, considers Boruto a threat as Eida rewrote reality and made Boruto the killer of the seventh Hokage, and made Kawaki, the son of Naruto Uzumaki.
This causes a significant situation, marking Boruto as the most wanted person in the Village. Chapter one of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex begins with Sarada, with a brand new design and, obviously, older than she was before. Sarada stands in the Hokage’s room and arguing Shikamaru that Lord Seventh is her inspiration, not him. This confirms that Shikamaru is the eighth hokage after the alleged death of Naruto.
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 2 Release Date:
According to the V Jump magazine, Boruto will regularly follow its monthly schedule with the three-month hiatus ending. The next chapter of the Boruto series is set to release on 20 September 2023 and will refrain from taking breaks as the situation in the manga has gotten even crazier.
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 2 Expectations:
While everyone in the Village still sees Boruto as a threat, Sarada and Sumire still believe that Boruto will come back and prove everyone wrong.
After Sarada argues with Shikamaru over the innocence of Boruto, the manga shows the first look at Kawaki’s design after the time-skip, where he is standing in the other dimension where Naruto and Hinata are asleep.
Later, more new character designs are revealed. We see Sumire with Sarada, and Eida is questioning both of them as she is curious how Sarada and Sumire managed to retain their memories after the reality was rewritten. Sumire remembers the information that Shikamaru gave her; if they’re not affected by Eida’s charm, they have a chance of killing her.
After their discussion, the chapter finally reveals the most anticipated character design of the post-time-skip, Mitsuki. He is standing atop a building with Kawaki, where he claims that if Boruto ever decides to step into the Village, he will instantly hunt him down and ultimately kill him, as Mitsuki wants to protect Kawaki no matter what it costs.
The manga then cuts to Himawari and Chocho’s training session in the Village’s forest. Himawari is all grown up, and after their training, we see Shikadai and Inojin. All of them have a little talk, and we learn that Himawari still wants to help Boruto, even though he allegedly killed Naruto. She also has a gut feeling that Naruto is still alive somewhere and that Boruto is innocent in this case.
We see Kawaki hunting down the claw marks of Code as he is expected to attack the Village soon. The claw marks are the sign that Code is coming. After a few moments, the Ten-tailed clones start attacking the Village, with Code leading. Sarada is pushing the clones away, but there is just no end to them. While Sarada is fighting the clones, Code appears near Sarada.
Code appears in the Village to look for Boruto, and he asks about his whereabouts from Sarada. Not knowing herself, Sarada argues with Code that Boruto is not in the Village and he should begin his search somewhere else. But Code has an ulterior motive; he is attacking the Village to flush Boruto out of his hiding to protect the people he loves. Out of nowhere, Boruto arrives and lands directly on Code’s face.
He is identified by Shikamaru and everyone in the Village by his chakra. Shikamaru asks everyone to focus on Boruto and find out his primary goal. The chapter ends with Sarada stunned and Kawaki surprised to see Boruto finally returning to the Village.
The next chapter of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex will be something that every fan of Naruto should anticipate. The battle between Kawaki and Boruto is about to begin, and he will most possibly beat the allegations of killing the seventh Hokage, who is still alive. How will everyone react to Boruto standing in the flesh after a long time? We can’t wait to find out!
Kishimoto-sensei welcomes us with cliffhangers by the end of each chapter, and he builds up the suspense for the readers! The next chapter of the Boruto series is set to release on 20 September 2023 and will contain one of the most critical turning points.
That’s it for today! We will see you soon!
