The long-running and intensifying battle between Arashiyama and Kanoh has finally brought us to a conclusion. Arashiyama was the announced winner after unimaginably countering Kanoh and knocking him down. Kengan Omega has returned to its average pace, and a new battle for the selection of the final slot has begun.
According to the magazine that publishes the manga series, Kengan Omega chapter 229 is slated to follow the weekly schedule!
The latest chapter of the series was titled “High-Alert,” and reflecting the title; it begins with Argentina finally holding a press conference and declaring war against The Worm. If you’re unfamiliar, The Worm is a Chinese agenda-progressing organization that lurks and works under darkness and has been in conflict with Argentina for a long time. After suffering significant losses, Argentina has finally decided to fight back the evils of The Worm.
Kengan Omega took quite a turn from focusing on the immaculate fights to a war between Argentina and The Worm. However, the chapter ends with an initiation of a significant fight for the series that will determine the winner of the final slot for the main Kengan tournament.

With the recent chapter ending, the next chapter release date of the manga series has been announced.
Kengan Omega chapter 229 is scheduled to be released on September 27, 2023, with the next issue of Ura Sunday Comics. It will most likely continue the fight between the two characters of the series.
Kengan Omega hasn’t been localized into the English language by any publisher. However, thanks to Comikey’s recent licensing, the series is available in digital, in English for the fans!
Kengan Omega Chapter 229 Expectations:
After Argentina announced the war against The Worm, it was also revealed that Argentina had located the leader of The Worm thanks to the efforts of their agents and the alliance of their government with PMC, the Private Military Company. The Private Military Company is called the Death Dealers, which can do any task that will be specified.
Although Japan has no contact with the Death Dealers, it is also revealed that the PMC organization has a base in Japan. Following the media reports, the chapter cuts the focus to Shinkiba Ghost Studio, where a fight occurs between two individuals who are likely the following participants for the significant Kengan tournament.
Chapter 228 marked the return of the legendary Giant Killer, Kaneda Suekichi, and The Floating Cloud, Hatsumi Sen. These two legendary fighters will be fighting against each other, and it will be a treat to watch. Both of them are greeting each other for the first time, personally. Some of the world’s best agents are serving as the guards for this underground Kengan Tournament.
All of the guards are confused, and it is later confirmed that the president of the Dead Dealers PMC is in Japan and has talked with the Kengan officials. The guards know the CEO of Death Dealers is in Japan to do business and fight against The Worm but are unfamiliar with his primary motive.
The fight between Kaneda and Hatsumi begins, and both await the first move. But, as they’re known for their countering capabilities, the start is relatively slow. The crowd is anticipating who will make the first move, and it is tough to predict, considering they are both known for the same techniques. Koga is also present in the crowd and wonders where Ohma has gone.
When asked about Ohma, Kazuo replies that he is currently on the backstage with the security manager of Kengan, Hollis. Cutting back to the fight, Kaneda makes the first move and launches a direct punch but stops it at the last second. Everyone is shocked at how good Kaneda is baiting Hatsumi, but it is the opposite. The chapter ends with revealing that Kaneda wanted to land the punch, but it seems he is missing something.
Everything aside, it seems that the reveal of The Death Dealers CEO is almost here, or maybe he has already been revealed? Hollis’s aura is threatening, and as he is managing the security of the Kengan tournament, it might be possible that he is the right-hand man of the CEO or, in the worst-case scenario, the CEO himself. Take this with a grain of salt; these are just expectations, and nothing has proven true.
Conclusion
The new arc of the series has begun, and it will dive deep into the matters of Death Dealers PMC and their fight against The Worm. Nonetheless, the fight between Kaneda and Hatsumi seems promising, and will have a clear-standing winner very soon!
Kengan Omega chapter 229 is set to be released on September 27, 2023!
