Do you know precisely how many volumes of One Punch Man there are? If you have finally decided to start reading this manga series, you must know the answer to this question!
Many people know that manga titles with a lot of action or are funny tend to reach high levels of popularity. But what about the manga series that have both? Well, they become as popular as One Punch Man did if they also manage to have an incredible premise.
One Punch Man is a fantastic series with some of the most beautiful drawings you’ll ever see. Yusuke Murata has done an incredible job illustrating ONE’s story!
That’s why people always recommend reading One Punch Man’s manga. The anime adaptation may be good, but the manga is excellent. But before you start reading the series, you must know exactly where to start and how to read it for the most enjoyable experience.
The usual approach to any journey involving reading manga is checking how many chapters or volumes the series has. Doing so lets you assess whether you are willing to invest time and money. Thus, before discussing the series, let’s cover these two things.
How Many One Punch Man Volumes Are There?
The anime’s first season was terrific, catapulting the name of One Punch Man to every corner of the world. While season 2 wasn’t as great as the first season, it was still quite popular, guaranteeing a third season.
Since there isn’t much to dislike in the manga, I recommend reading the manga series rather than watching the anime!
At the time of writing, 216 manga chapters have been released in the series, with more being released regularly. Most of these chapters have been collected in 32 tankōbon volumes, with more volumes on the way!
How to Read One Punch Man Manga in Order?
If you haven’t heard about One Punch Man, you are either living under a rock or leading an ascetic lifestyle somewhere in the mountains. This series has been a worldwide phenomenon, especially after it got an anime adaptation.
The manga series is pretty simple, with a relatively straightforward story, so you’ll be able to read the series without issue!
Go with the chronological order of the volumes – pick the first volume to read and go through the subsequent volumes. This way, you won’t have trouble sticking to the story and making sense of all the events in the manga.
Life gets pretty boring when you can beat the snot out of any villain with just one punch.
Nothing about Saitama passes the eyeball test when it comes to superheroes, from his lifeless expression to his bald head to his unimpressive physique. However, this average-looking guy has a not-so-average problem—he just can't seem to find an opponent strong enough to take on!

What is One Punch Man Manga About?
One Punch Man can be considered a parody of your traditional shonen series, mocking how characters tend to get increasingly stronger throughout the story.
The title features a world where superheroes and villains constantly fight one another. Heroes try to do their best to protect citizens while joining a superhero association, where they are ranked from F to S based on their strength.
Our main character, Saitama, works as an unassociated hero, not knowing that you must register to become an official hero.
However, Saitama managed to train enough to become so strong he could defeat any enemy with a single punch, which caused him to become bored most of the time while still wishing to save as many people as possible.
He then meets Genos, a cyborg on the verge of death after fighting an exceptionally powerful monster. Genos becomes his disciple when Saitama saves him, and together, they join the Hero Association to become officially registered Heroes!
Conclusion
Starting the One Punch Man manga is easier than starting most manga series, especially since it does not have an absurd number of chapters and volumes.
It is also quite enjoyable because of its fantastic art, and Yusuke Murata is famous for drawing high-quality content that is easy to understand in most circumstances.
If you like action, comedy, or superpowers, start this series, even if you only aim to check it out. You’ll fall in love immediately and look forward to when new chapters and volumes are released!
