Sakamoto Days Chapter 141 Release Date:
Sakamoto Days has been publishing new chapters without taking any breaks and keeping up this trend. The new chapter is slated to be released on October 29, 2023, with the next issue of Weekly Shounen Jump.
The chapter will be officially available to read on Viz Media’s website and Manga Plus app.
Sakamoto Days Chapter 141 Expectations:
The recent chapter starts with Haruma and Muto on their way to meet the rest of the gang. Haruma starts to explain why Muto was summoned, stating that they needed him to kill the JAA chairman who will be attending the Assassins exhibition.
Muto becomes increasingly anxious, highlighting the formidable security and four Order members guarding the chairman. Kei Uzuki informs Muto about a planted bomb at the exhibition, intending to exploit the ensuing chaos to eliminate the chairman.
Haruma further explains that as the exhibition will run for three days straight, they will need Muto’s help to find out the exact locations of the chairman. Just as Muto is about to decline, Mafuyu and Nao Toramaru abruptly arrive, having finished their spar with Gaku.
Kei asks Gaku not to make much noise as Akira’s asleep upstairs; upon hearing the reason, he takes them both to continue on with their practice. Kei presents three options for dismantling the JAA: assassinating the chairman, eradicating the Order, or annihilating their headquarters. After outlining the plan, he extends an offer to Muto, proposing he take over as chairman once the mission is accomplished—an offer that Muto accepts.
The chapter then shifts to Sakamoto and his crew, with Shin and Sakamoto seen engaging in a brawl, which Sakamoto ends up winning; it was sort of a training regime for Shin to improve even more and not be a burden on Sakamoto. Amane interrupts their training and inquires about the bomb at the exhibition. Surprisingly, no one had a single clue regarding who would plant the bomb and how will they achieve it.
As the group brainstormed the mystery of the bomb, Kashima offered an insightful opinion that the bomb had likely already been planted. With Kashima’s theory making sense, the question remained of how they would locate the bomb within the expansive venue. In response, Shin suggested bringing in an acquaintance with the skills to assist in this endeavor.
The chapter then shifts to Nagumo and Shishiba. Shishiba questions the decision not to inform the higher-ups about the bomb, to which Nagumo responds that it isn’t necessary. Their primary objective is to kill the members of X, and with this, the chapter concludes.
The upcoming chapter is expected to focus on the actual infiltration, with one gang aiming to assassinate the chairman and the other two focusing on preventing them. The next chapter promises action and excitement.
Conclusion
Members of the X will be taking Muto’s help in order to assassinate the JAA Chairman, but their plan of using a bomb has been compromised, as both the Sakamoto and the Order seem to know about it. With the presence of a bomb revealed, will the X still be able to execute their plan? I guess we will have to wait and find out.
