Before we begin with the article, we’d like to let you know that Nanatsu no Taizai chapter 285 is going to be on break this week and will only resume its schedule next week. With that being said, let’s get into the article and have a look at what we can expect from the upcoming chapter in terms of story!
I am pretty sure that you’ve been excited by the recent arc in the story as we’ve been taken back to Purgatory where the emotions of Meliodas, Ban and Wild are currently battling against the Demon King. It’s been a good change as the Estarossa/Mael arc got over with the heroes getting a new ally in the powerful archangel. However, the fate of the heroes in Purgatory seemed bleak as they weren’t making any headway in the battle against the Demon King and were no match for his powers. In one of the previous chapters, it was revealed that they’ve been fighting the Demon King for nearly 60 years now, but Ban figured something out about the nature of the Demon King’s powers and they were able to turn the tables for a moment.
So, if you’ve been up to speed with the latest chapter, then you’d already know what happened in the climax and the cliffhanger that the author left us at. So, without further ado, we’ll have a look at what to expect from the upcoming chapter of the Seven Deadly Sins!
Nanatsu no Taizai Chapter 285 Spoilers
The previous chapter began with the true nature of the Demon King’s power, “The Ruler” being revealed and the trio of heroes tried to make their way past him through the gates to escape Purgatory. However, the Demon King isn’t someone to be trifled with and he easily regains his composure and prepares for an attack.
Meanwhile, Ban tries to stop him all on his own by giving him his eternal life force and telling Meliodas and Wild to make their way to the real world while he holds him off. However, the Demon King deactivates his powers rendering Ban’s gambit useless and tries to crush him within his massive hands. However, the good Meliodas saves him and tells him to get to the door and get back in the real world while he hold him off.
The battle between the emotions of Meliodas and the Demon King begins where neither of them are in the mood to lose. However, the Demon King gains an upper hand on Meliodas, announcing that the real Meliodas is the true inheritor of his throne, and tries to finish of the emotions once and for all. Just then, Wild transforms himself into a new form and unleashes his “last resort” to take down the Demon King and allow Meliodas and Ban to make their way through the gates. He literally pushes them both through the gate to the real world, and the chapter ends on this cliffhanger.
Since there’s no new chapter this week, all we can do is speculate as to what’s going to happen in the upcoming Nanatsu no Taizai chapter 285. We can say with most certainty that Ban and the emotions of Meliodas are going to appear somewhere in the real world, however the fate of Wild is still uncertain.
There’s no telling if Wild is going to survive this encounter with the Demon King, or will he perish by using his own ultimate power? There’s a high chance that the author won’t do any such thing and send Wild to the real world as well because he has to meet his brother, Hawk and that will be a true reunion that fans have been waiting for ever since Wild was introduced in the story.
You can also expect to see a huge power-up in Ban, as he’s spend so much time in Purgatory; and since King has ascended to being the strongest Fairy King in history, Ban is going to prove that he’s more than a match for him after his stint in Hell.
