In the ongoing war between telecom giants, Jio has clearly emerged as the top player in the past few months after accumulating 100 million subscribers by offering free services. Recently, Jio offered the Dhan Dhana Dhan plan to its Prime subscribers and in response to that BSNL has launched a few plans of its own.
The state-run BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) launched 3 new schemes on Friday offering up to 3 GB of daily Internet data along with free voice calls for 90 days. This is a move to keep up with all the plans being offered by other telecom companies like Airtel, Reliance Jio and Vodafone.
The 3 new plans, priced between ₹ 333 to ₹ 395, offer 3 GB of Internet data per day and free voice calling for 90 days. The details of these plans are as follows:
- ‘Triple Ace’ Plan: The users will get 3GB Internet data per day at 3G speed and it will be valid 90 days for ₹ 333.
- ‘Dil Khol Ke Bol’ Plan: The plan is priced at ₹ 349 and will offer unlimited local and STD calls to customers along with 2 GB of Internet data per day at 3G speed after which the speed will reduce to 80 kbps.
- ‘Nehle Pe Dehle’ Plan: The most expensive plan offered by BSNL, priced at ₹ 395, will offer 3000 minutes of calls on BSNL networks and 1800 minutes of calls on other networks along with 2 GB of daily Internet data at 3G speed. This plan will be valid of 71 days only.
Looking at all the plans offered by BSNL, we can say that everything looks good but the only drawback is that you will get 3G speed with BSNL while all the other telecom companies are offering 4G speed with their plans.
