Nintendo’s announcements at the E3 were more of teasers than actual reveals. Yet, another subtle reveal Nintendo brought was a new game simply named Yoshi, that features one of the, arguably, more irritating members of the Mario character cast as he explores the world set in the game on his own.
‘Yoshi’ is another game Nintendo announced that has a 2D side-scrolling gameplay. Other 2D side-scrolling games that were announced in the E3 includes Kirby. Although 2D side-scrolling isn’t for every gamer, but this classical approach does appeal to many Nintendo users. The gameplay displayed in the trailer has a lot of similarities to Yoshi: Woolly World as well as Super Mario Brothers with the same coin collecting theme and jumping over obstacles.

This new game by Nintendo is expected to launch in 2018 for the Nintendo Switch, although no confirmed date has been given by the company.
