Motorola is launching one smartphone after another as the company have now made the Moto E4 and Moto E4 Plus official in the US. Out of all the smartphones leaked to release this year, the company has already launched Moto Z2 Play as well as Moto C and Moto C Plus and now the Moto E series is next.
The design of the smartphone was leaked earlier and it looks like it will sport a metal back with circular camera frame and antenna lines along with speaker grille and the Motorola logo. On the front, the smartphone has a Home button at the bottom and the fingerprint sensor underneath it. The volume keys and power button is located on the right edge with the audio jack at the top and the smartphone have water repellent coating as well.
Coming to the specs, the Moto E4 sports a 5-inch HD display (720×1280 pixels) with 8 MP rear camera with autofocus and 5 MP front camera with fixed focus. It is powered by 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 425 processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage (which is expandable) and runs on Android 7.1 Nougat OS. The connectivity options include WiFi 802.11n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, 4G and it comes with 2800mAh battery. The device will be available in Liquorice Black and Fine Gold color in the US and is priced at $129.99.
The Moto E4 Plus, on the other hand, sports a larger 5.5-inch HD display (720×1280 pixels) with 13 MP rear camera and 5 MP front camera. It is powered by 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 427 processor in the US and runs on Android 7.1 Nougat. There are two variants – 2GB RAM and 16GB storage variant and 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant. The biggest feature of the smartphone is its powerful battery, as it comes with a 5,000mAh non-removable battery. It will be available in Icon Gray and Fine Gold in the US and is priced at $179.99.
