iPhone 8 is back again in the news (not that it really ever left!), this time with some fresh new leaks shared by none other than the Apple rumor expert, Benjamin Geskin (@VenyaGeskin1 on Twitter). Geskin has gained quite the reputation recently by sharing new information about the next generation iPhone model. From release dates to blueprint images, Geskin is back again with some new sketches, only this time they’re not iPhone 8 sketches only but the iPhone 7S Plus as well.
We really can’t be sure of how accurate these sketches are but considering Geskin’s credentials, let’s take a closer look at them anyway.
iPhone 8 Sketches & Rumored Specs
First up – the long awaited iPhone 8. The incredibly comprehensive sketches show the back, front and the sides of the smartphone. From the iPhone 8 sketches we can see the back of the camera will feature a vertically placed dual-camera setup. This corroborates with the previous rumors that we’re almost sure this news is definite now.
The front of the phone presents a large edge-to-edge bezel-less display and the Home Button can’t be seen. This might mean the rumors of the TouchID fingerprint scanner embedded within the display might actually be true.
The iPhone 8 sketches of sides of the phone mentions, in a small handwriting, its dimensions. Contrary to previous reports of the phone measuring 143.59 x 70.94 x 7.57, this latest sketch reveals the iPhone 8 might actually be 143.4 x 70.77 x 7.51 in dimensions. The difference is really minor but it’s worth noticing anyway. The right-hand side features the volume and the mute button, whereas the left one features a strangely long power button, sparking new rumors that the fingerprint sensor might as well be incorporated in there.
From the bottom view of the iPhone 8 sketch, we can see the phone will sport the lightning connector port, dual speaker grille.
iPhone 7S Plus Sketches & Rumored Specs
The second iPhone Apple is anticipated to launch along with the 10th Anniversary iPhone 8, is the iPhone 7S Plus. The alleged sketches of the smartphone show that the iPhone 7S Plus will have the same design as its predecessor model, the iPhone 7.
The back of the phone shows a horizontally placed dual camera setup but it’s the front that strikes as odd. The sketch does not show a home button and resembles a lot to the iPhone 8 sketch. The display screen is also bezel-less.
As far as the dimensions go, the sketches state only the dimensions of the horizontally placed dual camera setup of the iPhone 7S Plus, saying that it will be 158.38 x 78.1 mm.

Along with posting sketches of the two smartphones, Benjamin Geskin also mentioned in his tweet that mass production of the phones has already begun. In an earlier rumor, Geskin said the release date for the iPhone 8 is supposed to be in the mid of September. If that is true, then mass production might as well have been started.
