The South Korean electronics giant, Samsung, is rumored to launch the Samsung Galaxy C10 on August 20 this year. There have been leaks concerning the new smartphone in the past that have given us some insight to what the new Samsung phone will be like but the latest one reveals something that was never seen before on a Samsung device – a dual camera set-up.
Although recent leaks of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 also suggest the possibility of dual-cameras, C10 will be the first one to be available in the market. From the leaked image of the Galaxy C10 we can see an LED flash light sandwiched between the two lenses. We can also see the phone will be available in a Rose Gold color variant. The power button is placed on the right side as per all Samsung phones and the double antenna lines can also be clearly seen in the image.
Furthermore, the image also suggests a full metal body with a back that slightly curves on the edges. These leaks were revealed by the Chinese social network, Weibo that has been popular for sharing authentic news. Previous leaks of the C10 have also suggested there would be a Bixby button like its Galaxy Note 8 counterpart.
Samsung Galaxy C10 Specifications
There has been no official news regarding the specifications of Samsung Galaxy C10, estimates have been made by the little information that has hit the web. The Samsung Galaxy C10 is expected to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor and will support Android v.7.1 Nougat. The smartphone is also thought to sport 4 GB RAM with 64 GB internal memory that is expandable. It will be a dual-SIM smartphone that will support nano-SIM cards.
As far as the display goes, the Galaxy C10 is rumored to have a 6-inch AMOLED display with 1400 x 2560 pixel resolutions, and a Gorilla Glass corning. The 2K display will be great for a fun gaming and video watching experience. There have also been rumors about the battery, which might be a 3000mAH lithium battery that supports quick charging. Unlike the latest smartphones, we have not received any insight on whether Samsung plans to ditch the audio jack in its C10 handset and rely solely on USB-C, although we do believe it will keep the 3.5 mm audio jack.
The dual cameras are said to be 13 MP for the primary camera and 16 MP for the secondary camera which are definitely some incredible specs. Like all latest smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy C10 is speculated to have all the basic connectivity options – 3G, 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and the latest USB-C. The Galaxy C10 will have a fingerprint sensor as the previous models in the C-series, and will also have additional light sensors, proximity sensor and an accelerometer.
All of the specifications listed are, however, still not confirmed by the Seoul-based company and we might not know the exact features until later this year. The release date for the Samsung Galaxy C10 is rumored to be August 20th, 2017 and with the specs it is thought to pack, it might have a price tag of US $570.
