Rumors of the next flagship from Lenovo’s Moto Z series – Moto Z2 Play and Moto Z2 Force – have been around for a while. A few hours ago, press render leaks that surfaced on the web have given us more insight to what the new smartphones might look like. Roland Quandt on Twitter shared these leaks. According to the leaked render images we can see both the Moto Z2 Play and the Moto Z2 Force have significant similarities with the Moto logo on the top bevel, microphone at the bottom and a rectangular shaped fingerprint scanner.
From the back, though, the two models are different. The Moto Z2 Force features a horizontally placed dual-lens camera, whereas the Moto Z2 Play has a single camera on the rear end. Another important feature of the Moto Z2 Play, but not of the Z2 Force, is that it does not come with an audio jack.
Rumored Specs of the Moto Z2 Play
Lenovo has not as yet revealed the exact specifications of both the devices. However rumors have surfaced that the Moto Z2 Play will feature a non-removable 3,000mAh fast charging battery, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and it will run Android v. 7.1.1 Nougat.
Moto Z2 Play will have a 5.5-inch LCD display and it will be available in two colors – Lunar Grey and Fine Gold. The smartphone will have a storage and memory speculated to be 4 GB RAM with 64 GB internal storage and expandable external storage via the microSD card up to 256 GB. The phone might feature a 12 MP primary camera and a 5 MP secondary camera.
All of these specifications are not confirmed yet though and we cannot be sure what the new Lenovo/Moto flagship model packs until new information is available. According to multiple sources, Lenovo could launch the new Moto Z2 Play and Moto Z2 Force in early June.
